A test of NASA's towering Space Launch System rocket uncovered another issue with the vehicle meant to launch astronauts on a mission around the moon.
NASA’s first crewed moon mission in decades was delayed as its engineers grapple with an all-too-familiar rocket problem: hydrogen leaks. Fixing the issue is even trickier than it may seem.
The crew will spend the next eight months conducting experiments to prepare for human exploration beyond Earth's orbit.
California-based aerospace company Vast partnered with NASA to send four private astronauts to the International Space Station for up to two weeks.
The four Crew-12 astronauts brought the International Space Station’s staff back to seven after a month of operating with three people on board.
"We would not have any way to go and actively deflect one right now," warns the scientist who led NASA's DART mission.
